Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2017 Declared, 94.4% students pass
19 May, 2017; Chennai: The Director of Government Exams, D.Vasundaradevi today at 10 AM in the morning released the Tamil Nadu SSLC Exam Result 2017 at the Directorate of Govt Exams at DPI Campus, Nungambakkam, Chennai. The TN Board SSLC Result 2017 has seen a total pass percentage of 94.4% which is 0.8% higher than last year's result. The result is now available online on the following website:
The girls have as usual, out-performed the boys with a passing percentage of 96.2% while the boys have an overall pass percentage of 92.5%. There are 5,059 schools in the state that have registered a 100% pass per cent. A total of 9,82,097 students had appeared for the SSLC exams this year out of which 4,91,226 were girls and 4,90,870 were boys. The Tamil Nadu SSCL exams 2017 were held from 8 March till 31 March, 2017.
The Virudhunagar district had the highest pass percentage (98.55%) followed by Kanyakumari (98.17%).
In order to reduce anxiety among students, no ranks or topper names were announced this year for the SSLC result as well as the Plus Two results which were declared last week on 12 May, 2017.
