KEAM 2017: Kerala Entrance Exam Result will be declared TODAY

KEAM 2017: result to be declared on 18 May today

The Kerala entrance exam, KEAM 2017 result will be declared today by the Office of Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE), Kerala. KEAM 2017 is held for students who wish to seek admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and pharmacy that are offered by either Government, Government-aided and Private colleges.

Previously, KEAM was considered for admission into medical courses as well before National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Exam (NEET) came along and replaced all the medical entrance exams conducted by various states. Recently, the Kerala DHSE Result 2017 was published by the Kerala Board on 15th May.

Candidates who appeared for KEAM 2017 will be provided with a link soon to upload their Class 12 marks.

KEAM 2017 was held on April 24 and 25. Physics and Chemistry papers were conducted on April 24 and Mathematics paper was conducted on April 25.

Around 1,06,260 students are said to have appeared for KEAM this year in 307 centres across Kerala.

Admission of candidates will be done on the basis of the marks scored in KEAM and the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12/qualifying exam. 50:50 weightage will be given to KEAM and the qualifying exam.

If Chemistry was not a subject of study in class 12 for certain candidates then the marks obtained by them in Computer Science will be taken into consideration. If not Chemistry and Computer Science, both, then the Biotechnology marks will be taken into consideration. If the student has not taken up neither Chemistry, nor Computer Science or Biotechnology then the marks obtained in Biology will be considered for admission.
