Delhi School of Communication (DSC) invites applications to PG Diploma in Communication (PGDPC) 2013
The Delhi School of Communication (DSC) invites applications to its two-year Post Graduate Programme in Communication (PGDPC) for the academic session 2013 to 2014. This is a dual qualification program awarding both the Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Communication (PGDPC) along with the Master's in Mass Communication (MMC) from Guru Jambheshwar University (approved by the University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education).
Graduates in any subject or students in final year who will graduate by 2013 can apply for the PGDPC. Relevant work experience in the field of communications is preferred, thought not compulsory.
Interested candidates can either download the application form and post/courier it, or they can register and apply online. the last date to submit the application form is 30 March 2013.
The registration/ application fee is Rs.1,100, which can be payed by bank transfer or demand draft.
Applicants must have a certain score in MAT/CAT/ATMA, otherwise they have to take DSC's Internal Admission test. The DSC Admission test is a 1.5 hours long online assessment that tests an individual's basic reasoning, logic and creative writing skills. Basic advertising and media knowledge will also be tested.
The next step will be to clear an online psychological test. This will be a half hour long paper, with objective type questions that will test an applicant's emotional quotient, writing skills and overall creativity.
The online link to both the DSC Admission Test and the Pyschological Test will be mailed to the candidate along with a unique ID upon submission of the application form either online or by post/courier.
